The convocation within which I live in NC has more members. I suspect, sadly, that the problem was not lack of women but lack of candidates male or female willing to serve a rural Diocese of isolated parishes. Sad, but we Episcopalians have lost our evangelistic zeal. I think God might have a plan to change that, however. Jedediah Holdorph, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Bend, Oregon; andThe Very Rev.
